‘You Will Be in Prison’: Letitia James’ Press Conference Gets Hijacked by Heckler – EVOL

New York Attorney General Letitia James got an earful from one constituent on the ironic news that she will now most likely stand trial for charges not dissimilar from those she wielded against President Donald Trump in 2023.

Fielding questions during a town hall, James listened without interruption as a male New Yorker rose to ask if she plans to “apologize to President Trump” for attempting to prosecute him for real estate fraud.

“How does it feel to know that you’ll be in prison for mortgage fraud?” he said over booing from the mostly supportive crowd gathered to hear the Democrat speak. Handlers rushed in to boot the MAGA man, who smiled and pumped his fist while panning the crowd with his phone’s camera.

James did her best to avoid taking the bait.

“We want to thank everyone for their opinions. Everyone knows those allegations are baseless. They’re discredited,” she shouted over applause.
