But, do you remember when the Village People — the band behind the song — actually demanded that President Trump stop playing the song at his rallies?
Well now, one of the band’s founders, Victor Willis, has done a complete 180 flip, telling Fox & Friends that the band would “seriously consider” performing the YMCA at President Trump’s Inauguration — in one circumstance.
If President Trump called him up and asked the band to play, he would be open to it in order to make him and the American people happy.
Victor Willis also explained his change of heart, saying that he decided to allow President Trump to keep using the YMCA, “because he seems to genuinely, genuinely like the song, and so many other artists were stopping him from using their music,”
