Woman who confronted Newsom during wildfires reveals who the governor was actually talking to as he insisted it was Biden – EVOL

The Los Angeles woman who confronted Governor Gavin Newsom earlier this month over dry fire hydrants during devastating wildfires has revealed that Newsom was not on the phone with President Joe Biden, as he claimed. Instead, he was speaking to his wife.

The confrontation took place after wildfires ravaged parts of Los Angeles, reducing neighborhoods to ashes and leaving many residents outraged. One furious mother, Rachel Darvish, confronted Newsom as he was about to enter his motorcade. Her daughter’s school had burned down, and she demanded answers about the state’s poor wildfire response.

“Governor! You got a second? Governor! Governor! I live here, Governor! That was my daughter’s school, Governor!” Darvish yelled as she ran toward him.

Newsom, seemingly caught off guard, attempted to diffuse the situation by claiming he was on the phone with President Biden. “I’m literally talking with the president right now to specifically answer the question of what we could do for you and your daughter,” he told her. However, Darvish was skeptical and pressed him for proof.

“Can I hear it? Can I hear your call? Because I don’t believe it,” she challenged.
