Former President Barack Obama’s private rebuke of his own party is not sitting well with the hosts of ABC’s left-wing propaganda show “The View.”
Whoopi Goldberg was especially outraged as she melted down on Tuesday.
Goldberg raged over Obama criticizing Democrats for failing to push back effectively against President Donald Trump.
During a closed-door donor event last Friday, Obama reportedly told supporters that Democrats needed “less navel-gazing” and “less whining,” and that too many on the Left were shrinking in fear rather than confronting Trump head-on.
Obama told the Left to “toughen up” and stop “whining” about Trump.
“What I have been surprised by,” Obama said, according to The New York Times, “is the degree to which I’ve seen people who, when I was president, or progressives, liberals, stood for all kinds of stuff, who seem like they’re kind of cowed and intimidated and shrinking away from just asserting what they believe, or at least what they said they believe.”
Obama added, “It’s going to require a little bit less navel-gazing and a little less whining and being in fetal positions.
“And it’s going to require Democrats to just toughen up.”
