Liberal Fox News host Jessica Tarlov got smacked down by her colleagues on “The Five” after suggesting that Republicans are mischaracterizing Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz’s resignation from the Army shortly before his battalion deployed for Iraq so he could run for Congress.
On Wednesday night Tarlov spoke in opposition to a press conference from Republican vice presidential candidate Sen. J.D. Vance (R-OH) after he criticized Walz’s military record at a campaign event in Michigan. At the event, the Ohio Republican claimed Walz abandoned his unit. “What really bothers me about Tim Walz, as a Marine who served his country in uniform, when the United States Marine Corps, when the United States of America asked me to go to Iraq to serve my country, I did it.
