Attorney General Merrick Garland is testifying at 10 a.m. before the House Judiciary Committee as Republicans question his refusal to provide access to audio recordings of President Joe Biden’s interview with former special counsel Robert Hur.

In February, the committee subpoenaed Garland for the interview tapes to investigate Biden’s handling of classified documents. Garland has evaded the subpoena, leading some Republicans to consider holding him in contempt.
