Washington Post Publisher Blasts Staff as Top Editor Quits: ‘People Are Not Reading Your Stuff’ – EVOL

The Washington Post is continuing to struggle as the left-wing propaganda outlet hemorrhages money amid a dwindling audience of readers.

The Jeff Bezos-owned newspaper is undergoing major changes as its executive editor, Sally Buzbee, has just quit.

Buzbee has stepped down from the potion after three years of directing the newspaper’s coverage.

The sudden departure of the top editor was discussed in a meeting with the Post’s staff.

During the meeting, publisher and CEO William Lewis warned that the newspaper is “losing large amounts of money.”

Lewis also revealed that the outlet is struggling to maintain readership, the Post reported.

In a heated exchange with a staffer, Lewis reportedly said that “decisive” and “urgent” changes are needed in the newsroom.

“We are going to turn this thing around, but let’s not sugarcoat it,” he said, according to the Post.

“It needs turning around.”

“We are losing large amounts of money.

“Your audience has halved in recent years.

People are not reading your stuff. Right,” Lewis blasted.

“I can’t sugarcoat it anymore.”

Similar to other left-wing outlets and cable news channels, the Post’s audience size jumped while President Donald Trump was in office.
