Vance Predicts Democrat-Controlled Michigan Will Swing to Trump: ‘People Are Sick of Losing Their Livelihoods’ – EVOL

Republican vice presidential nominee J.D. Vance has predicted that the Democrat-controlled swing state of Michigan will be among a “red wall” of states that vote for President Donald Trump in the critical November election.

Sen. Vance (R-OH) said that the good people of Michigan, as in other states across the country, are “sick of losing their livelihoods” due to failed Democrat policies.

Vance made the prediction while speaking to Michiganian supporters in Byron Center, a small town just south of Grand Rapids.

During his visit, Vance focused on the economy.

Trump’s running mate blasted “a generation of failed leadership” in Michigan.

He predicted that voters in the state would overwhelmingly turn out in support of Republicans in November.

“Thanks to a generation of failed leadership, Michigan has seen thousands of manufacturing jobs disappear,” Vance said, according to The Detroit News.

“We have got to do better.”

“Michigan, people used to call it a blue wall state.

“I think Michigan is a red wall state now because people are sick of losing their livelihoods and losing their jobs,” he added.
