Update: Kash Patel Not Resigning, Will Stay Unless Trump Says Otherwise – EVOL

Kash Patel will not resign as FBI Director — unless President Donald Trump personally asks him to step down.

That’s according to John Solomon of Just the News, who late Friday pushed back on swirling rumors that Patel might join Deputy FBI Director Dan Bongino in resigning over frustrations with Attorney General Pam Bondi.

Dan Bongino reportedly took Friday off after a heated confrontation with Bondi at the White House over the Epstein file release. He’s told several close allies that he may walk away from the FBI if Bondi remains in her position at the Department of Justice.

Earlier reports from The Daily Wire claimed Patel was also considering leaving over similar concerns — namely, Bondi’s refusal to release key Epstein-related documents. But Solomon says that’s false.

“Kash Patel is going nowhere unless the President tries to move him,” Solomon said. “He’s overseeing a major FBI investigation — and he’s in it for the long haul.”
