As predicted by many conservative voices in Congress and those fighting for reasonable election fairness in President Trump’s corner, Speaker of the House Mike Johnson has once again caved to the Democrats, offering them up exactly what they wanted — a Continuing Resolution which would fund the government and avert a shutdown with no SAVE Act attached.
In the interest of giving credit where credit is due, I feel obligated to remind you of Rep. Thomas Massie’s perfect prediction about what would ultimately happen:
Who could have predicted this?!

“We’re gonna cave.” If this were a few thousand years ago and Thomas Massie claimed to be a prophet of God, this prediction would almost seal the deal. Except, he’s not the only one who predicted this outcome. Almost every truly conservative voice had a “hunch” that this was exactly the way things were headed — the SAVE Act dumped, the Democrats getting a clean vote and the ability to claim victory over the Republicans, all sorts of good press for “funding the government”
