President Donald Trump has asserted that his legal battle is far bigger than himself as he vows to continue fighting for the future of the country and the American people.
During a press conference on Friday, Trump declared the political persecution he is battling is a symptom of something deeply wrong with America’s weaponized justice system.
Trump said that he is prepared to continue fighting “for this country” and “for our Constitution,” despite the great personal risk.
“I’m out there, and I don’t mind being out there because I’m doing something for this country, and I’m doing something for our Constitution — it’s very important, far beyond me,” he said.
“This can’t be allowed to happen to other presidents; it should never be allowed to happen in the future.
“But this is far beyond me,” he asserted.
“This is bigger than Trump. This is bigger than me.”

“It’s a very sad thing that’s happening in our country,” Trump later added.
