Trump directs US military to launch strikes against Houthi terrorists in Yemen – EVOL

President Donald Trump has ordered the U.S. military to carry out a “decisive and powerful” military operation against the Houthi terrorists in Yemen.

The move comes in response to a series of Houthi attacks on commercial and military vessels in the Red Sea, which have significantly disrupted global trade and threatened American interests.

Trump announced the decision on his social media platform, Truth Social, stating, “Today, I have ordered the United States Military to launch decisive and powerful Military action against the Houthi terrorists in Yemen. They have waged an unrelenting campaign of piracy, violence, and terrorism against American, and other, ships, aircraft, and drones.”

Escalation of Houthi Attacks in the Red Sea

Over the past year, the Houthis—an Iran-backed militant group—have increasingly targeted shipping routes in the Red Sea, the Suez Canal, and the Gulf of Aden. Trump criticized the previous administration’s response, saying, “Joe Biden’s response was pathetically weak, so the unrestrained Houthis just kept going.”
