President Donald Trump has accused the twice-failed Democrat presidential candidate Kamala Harris of paying high-profile celebrities to endorse her 2024 campaign.
In a statement on Monday, Trump called for a “major investigation” into the “unlawful” endorsements.
As Slay News reported at the time, suspicions were already raised by the number of Sean “Diddy” Combs-linked celebrities who endorsed Harris.
Bill and Hillary Clinton, Barack Obama, Jennifer Lopez (J-Lo), Oprah Winfrey, Bono, and Beyonce and Jay-Z are all publicly connected to Diddy, and they all endorsed Harris.
In an early morning Truth Social post, Trump accused Harris of illegally paying for high-profile endorsements, saying:
“HOW MUCH DID KAMALA HARRIS PAY BRUCE SPRINGSTEEN FOR HIS POOR PERFORMANCE DURING HER CAMPAIGN FOR PRESIDENT?
“WHY DID HE ACCEPT THAT MONEY IF HE IS SUCH A FAN OF HERS?
“ISN’T THAT A MAJOR AND ILLEGAL CAMPAIGN CONTRIBUTION?
“WHAT ABOUT BEYONCÉ? …AND HOW MUCH WENT TO OPRAH, AND BONO???
“I am going to call for a major investigation into this matter,” Trump wrote.
“Candidates aren’t allowed to pay for ENDORSEMENTS, which is what Kamala did, under the guise of paying for entertainment,” he added.
