The Trump campaign was considering doing an interview with CBS 60 Minutes until the garbage media news show said they would be cutting out of the taped interview to do fact-checking. Once they revealed that, Trump said no to the interview.
60 Minutes is claiming that Trump had scheduled the interview and then backed out. But the Trump campaign says that is fake news and says CBS is lying about Trump being scheduled.

Vice President Kamala Harris will sit down with CBS News’s 60 Minutes on Monday in what was intended to be a back-to-back special with former President Donald Trump. CBS said Trump initially accepted but then backed out, a claim his campaign denied.
In a statement posted before the vice presidential debate Tuesday evening, CBS News said both the Harris and Trump campaigns agreed to sit down for an interview, Harris with correspondent Bill Whitaker and Trump with Scott Pelley.
