Donald Trump is safe after a suspected second assassination attempt in less than two months.
A gunman pointed an AK-47 at the former president while he was playing at the Trump International Golf Course in West Palm Beach on Sunday just after 1pm.
The Republican nominee was rushed to safety as Secret Service agents opened fire on the suspect who had a GoPro camera and backpack, along with his rife.
The would-be assassin has been named has Ryan Wesley Routh, and is now in custody.
