Trump announces JFK assassination files to be released tomorrow – EVOL

UPDATE: President Donald Trump announced that the long awaited President John F. Kennedy JFK assassination classified files are set to be released tomorrow.

Speaking after a board meeting at the Kennedy Center in Washington, D.C., on Monday, Trump confirmed that approximately 80,000 pages of documents—compiled by U.S. Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard—will be made public on Tuesday afternoon.

“That’s a big announcement. They’ve been waiting for that for decades,” Trump said.

When asked if he had personally reviewed the files, Trump responded that he had only “heard about them” but assured reporters that “it’s going to be very interesting.”

Trump had previously pledged to release these files if re-elected to a second term, fulfilling a long-standing promise to make government records on Kennedy’s assassination available to the public.

The upcoming document release follows Trump’s executive order, signed on January 23, which directed the declassification of remaining records related to Kennedy’s assassination in downtown Dallas. The order also mandates the release of files concerning the assassinations of Senator Robert F.
