Trump and Tom Homan ‘unhappy’ with current deportation numbers—ICE to ramp up operations – EVOL

Donald Trump and his border czar, Tom Homan, are reportedly frustrated with the current pace of deportations, pushing for Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) to accelerate their efforts.

Mass deportation was a major promise of Trump’s presidential campaign, with his supporters expecting the removal of millions of illegal immigrants.

However, according to NBC News, both Trump and Homan are dissatisfied with the numbers so far and are demanding a more aggressive approach.

A source familiar with Trump’s thinking said the president is growing increasingly frustrated, with his concerns being relayed to key figures in his administration, including Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem, White House Deputy Chief of Staff Stephen Miller, and acting ICE Director Caleb Vitello.

“It’s driving him nuts they’re not deporting more people,” the source revealed.

Homan, in particular, has reportedly expressed his frustration during daily calls with ICE agents. Another source indicated that Homan is “unhappy” with the current numbers and has made his dissatisfaction clear.

Since Trump took office last month, approximately 8,000 individuals have been detained, though some have been released while others remain in deportation proceedings.
