‘Trans’ Catholic School Shooter’s Mom Not Cooperating With Cops – EVOL

The mother of trans-identifying Minneapolis mass shooter Robin Westman has not cooperated with police in the aftermath of a deadly school shooting that killed two children and injured 18 others. 

Authorities revealed Thursday that she has retained a criminal defense attorney and has declined communication with investigators.

Mary Grace Westman, who previously worked at Annunciation Catholic School, the site of the attack, has not returned police calls or responded to outreach attempts, Minneapolis Police Chief Brian O’Hara confirmed at a press conference.

“We have not been successful in talking to the shooter’s mother,” O’Hara said. 

He did not provide further details about the communication efforts but confirmed investigators have executed four search warrants since the incident. 

Those searches yielded hundreds of pieces of evidence, including electronic devices.

Fox News reported Thursday that Mary Grace Westman later retained attorney Ryan Garry, a Minnesota-based criminal defense lawyer. 

Garry told the outlet that his client was deeply distressed by the shooting but had no involvement. 

“She is completely distraught about the situation and has no culpability but is seeking an attorney to deal with calls like this,” Garry said.

Mary Grace Westman has a long connection to Annunciation Catholic School.
