The View host Sunny Hostin referred to House Judiciary Committee Chair Jim Jordan (R-OH) as a “terrorist” and accused him of “terrorizing” both herself and “other experts” when she testified before Congress. Jordan has emerged as a leading candidate to replace House Speaker Kevin McCarthy (R-CA) after his historic removal.
The five co-hosts of the ABC program were discussing the race for House Speaker and the leading candidates, including Rep. Steve Scalise (R-LA) and Jim Jordan (R-OH).
“I will just say about Jim Jordan, ya know, uhm, he has been called by his own party, by John Boehner, ‘a political terrorist,’” Hostin said Thursday. She went on to recall her testimony before Congress on criminal justice reform in 2019 and referred to herself as an “expert.”
“I testified in Congress about something so simple – cameras in courtrooms. He came in late. He looked disheveled and he immediately was screaming and yelling and terrorized me and the other experts on the panel. And describing him as a terrorist is exactly that,” Hostin said.
