Suspect Arrested at Mar-a-Lago With Weapons and ‘Urgent Message’ for Trump – EVOL

A 49-year-old woman from Orlando was arrested after she allegedly drove to President Donald Trump’s Mar-A-Lago estate late Sunday night and insisted to Secret Service agents that she had an “urgent message” for the president.

The woman, identified as Caroline Shaw, was taken into custody around 10:00 p.m. on July 7, according to court records reviewed by the Palm Beach Daily News. Trump was not present at the estate — he was in Washington, D.C. at the time of the incident.

Secret Service, Police Act Quickly

According to the arrest report, Shaw drove her gray Mercedes van to the south gate of Mar-A-Lago, exited her vehicle, and approached the gate — claiming she needed to speak with President Trump.

Secret Service agents contacted Palm Beach Police, who responded to the scene. After officers arrived, Shaw reportedly informed them she had weapons in her vehicle. A handgun was recovered from inside the van.
