Newly released documents from the Trump administration have reignited the “Russiagate” scandal — and this time, Hillary Clinton is front and center.
“Literally, Hillary Clinton should be behind bars,” Megyn Kelly said on her show Thursday after the new intel dropped. “This woman should be in jail.”
The documents include a once-classified annex to Special Counsel John Durham’s investigation. The report lays out more evidence that Clinton’s 2016 campaign orchestrated the Trump-Russia hoax to distract from her own email scandal.
“She cooked up a plan to accuse Trump of being a Russian agent,” Kelly said. “It’s so blatantly corrupt.”
The Clinton campaign has long been tied to the Steele Dossier, a now-discredited collection of fake claims against then-candidate Donald Trump. What’s new is the extent to which intelligence agencies and foreign actors were involved — and ignored.
“She made up a scandal,” Kelly said, “and the intel agencies helped her spread the lie.”
According to the declassified documents, Dutch intelligence spied on Russian hackers who had infiltrated communications from Clinton’s inner circle.
The Russians allegedly learned about the plan to frame Trump, and the Dutch passed that intel to U.S. authorities, per the Conservative Brief.
