Russia ARRESTS Los Angeles Woman for ‘Treason’ – EVOL

Ksenia Karelina, a 33-year-old resident of Los Angeles, was apprehended by the Federal Security Service (F.S.B.) for allegedly committing high treason by donating to a Ukrainian organization that procured weapons and other supplies for the Ukrainian military, according to reports from the New York Times and Media Zona.

The NYT report reported:

“Perviy Otdel, a group of Russian lawyers who specialize in cases involving accusations of treason and other politically charged allegations, said that the woman had been accused of treason for sending just over $50 to Razom for Ukraine, a New York-based nonprofit organization that sends assistance to the country.”

In central Russia’s city of Yekaterinburg, the F.S.B. has announced the arrest of a woman who was visiting her parents in the country. RIA Novosti, a Russian state news agency, has released a video allegedly showing the woman being handcuffed and accompanied by masked security service officers, with her eyes covered by a white hat. If found guilty, she could potentially face a prison sentence of up to 20 years.
