Rudy Giuliani Seriously Injured – EVOL

Former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani sustained serious injuries in a car crash on Interstate 93 in Manchester, New Hampshire, Saturday night after stopping to assist a woman fleeing a domestic violence situation.

The 81-year-old Giuliani was traveling as a passenger in a Ford Bronco when the vehicle was struck from behind at high speed by a Honda HR-V just before 10 p.m.

This is according to New Hampshire State Police.

A spokesman for Giuliani confirmed the former mayor had been flagged down by a woman who was fleeing a domestic-violence incident earlier in the evening.

Giuliani helped the woman and called 911, remaining at the scene until police officers arrived to handle the situation.

The crash occurred while Giuliani was later traveling on the highway in his rental vehicle, which was hit from behind at high speed.

New Hampshire State Police troopers and fire personnel were already present on the southbound side of Interstate 93 handling the reported domestic-violence incident when they witnessed the two-vehicle collision on the northbound side.

Both vehicles involved in the crash went into the median and sustained heavy damage, according to police reports.
