President Donald Trump on Saturday took aim at longtime critic Rosie O’Donnell, calling the far-left comedian a “threat to humanity” and suggesting she should remain in Ireland, where she fled earlier this year after Trump returned to the White House.
“Because of the fact that Rosie O’Donnell is not in the best interests of our Great Country, I am giving serious consideration to taking away her Citizenship,” Trump wrote on Truth Social.
“She is a Threat to Humanity, and should remain in the wonderful Country of Ireland, if they want her. GOD BLESS AMERICA!”
Rosie Fled the Country After Trump’s Victory
O’Donnell, 63, confirmed earlier this year that she had moved to Ireland permanently after Trump was re-elected. She left the U.S. just five days before Inauguration Day and has since applied for Irish citizenship.
In a video posted to TikTok, O’Donnell explained, “I was someone who never thought I would move to another country, but that’s what I decided would be best for myself and my 12-year-old child.”
