Report Reveals FBI Deployed 274 Undercover Agents to Capitol on Jan 6 as ‘Pawns in a Political War’ – EVOL

A newly released FBI after-action report has revealed that the bureau deployed hundreds of undercover agents to the U.S. Capitol on January 6, 2021.

However, the previously sealed report shows that many of the FBI agents later admitted they were unsure of their mission or why they were even there.

According to the bombshell report, obtained by Just the News, a total of 274 FBI agents from the agency’s Washington Field Office were present in and around the Capitol on January 6.

That included personnel deployed to the Capitol grounds, inside the building itself, and to investigate the pipe bombs and a red truck believed to contain explosives.

The report, recently sent to the House Judiciary Committee by FBI Director Kash Patel, indicates widespread frustration among agents who felt ill-equipped and unprepared for riot control.

“The initial response of having us again respond to a riot by ‘standing the line’ did not seem appropriate because we do not have the gear, equipment, or training for riot control,” one agent wrote.

Another echoed the same concerns, stating:

“As in June, agents were again deployed onto the streets (specifically around the Capitol) and simply told to stand behind MPD.
