Prominent Clinton & Obama Campaign Officials Killed in Car Crash – EVOL

Two high-profile Democrat political figures have been killed in a car accident in Southern California.

Peggy Moore, 60, and Hope Wood, 48, both from San Francisco, California, were prominent officials who both worked on the election campaigns of Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama.

They were traveling westbound in a Jeep Gladiator when they collided head-on with a Chrysler 300 that veered into oncoming traffic, according to SF Gate.

The crash killed Wood, Moore, the Jeep’s driver, and the Chrysler’s driver, 60, according to KNTV.

However, a third passenger, who was journeying with Wood and Moore, survived the accident.

Authorities are currently investigating the cause of the shocking crash.

Offials are looking into the possibility of whether alcohol or drugs were involved in the incident, the U.K.’s Daily Mail reported.

The only crash victim named by the medical examiner was Moore, but tributes online quickly revealed that both women had been killed.

Moore and Wood were longtime East Bay political leaders.

They became partners after meeting each other while working on former U.S. President Barack Obama’s campaign in 2008, according to SF Gate.

The Daily Mail reported that Moore, in particular, had the reputation of being a “giant” in California
