Police Foil Another Assassination Plot against Trump, Suspected Arrested – EVOL

A Texas woman has been arrested for threatening to assassinate President Donald Trump, police have revealed.

It comes just weeks after Trump narrowly avoided being shot dead at one of his rallies in Pennsylvania.

41-year-old Christina Montoya was caught in Washington D.C. with a Smith & Wesson pistol on Friday.

Police said Montoya was planning to shoot President Trump.

However, Montoya was arrested as Trump met with donors hundreds of miles away in the Hamptons.

The arrest is the latest reminder of the threat of political violence.

Despite the increased threat, Democrats have returned to inflammatory rhetoric painting Trump as a “danger” to the country.

Metropolitan Police investigators in Washington D.C. were tipped off by Secret Service.

They found Montoya and her Honda Accord in a residential area of the city.

She had a Smith & Wesson M&P Shield pistol, a gun lock, and a magazine, according to a police report.

The woman was charged with:

Carrying a Pistol without a License Possession of an Unregistered Firearm Threats Against a Former President.

“On Friday, August 2, 2024, at approximately 12:12 p.m., MPD received information regarding a woman who traveled to Washington, DC.,” a police press release said.
