Multiple fights erupted at the Fashion Centre at Pentagon City Mall in Arlington, Virginia on Saturday night, forcing authorities to shut down the shopping center.
The Arlington County Police Department reported that officers were summoned to the scene following reports of numerous altercations within the shopping center.
The situation escalated to such a degree that authorities deemed it necessary to shut down the mall ahead of its scheduled closing time to ensure public safety.

During the fracas, a police officer and a mall security guard sustained minor injuries.
Three juveniles were detained in connection with the incidents, with one requiring medical attention for minor injuries.
