Multiple pedestrians hurt As penske truck crashes In Downtown Boston – EVOL

A major accident in Boston Chinatown district on Tuesday afternoon left multiple pedestrians injured after a yellow Penske rental truck crashed, sending at least two people to the hospital in critical condition.

The incident occurred around 12:40 p.m. near Harrison Avenue and Kneeland Street, just outside Downtown Boston, disrupting the bustling area.

According to the Boston Police Department, the truck collided with multiple utility poles before flipping onto its side and becoming wedged between a pole and a building. Firefighters had to use specialized equipment to free the driver, while emergency responders tended to the injured pedestrians.

Emergency medical teams rushed the victims to local hospitals. Tufts Medical Center reported that one pedestrian remains in critical condition, another is in fair condition, and a third is stable.

Authorities have confirmed that at least two victims are in critical condition, but the full extent of the injuries is still under assessment.

Photos from the scene show the overturned yellow truck amid shattered glass and debris scattered across the street. The windshield was significantly damaged, and emergency crews worked quickly to secure the area and assist the injured.
