U.S. Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) announced her decision on whether she will run for U.S. Senate in a lengthy X article on Friday night.
The seat currently held by Senator Jon Ossoff (D-GA) is widely viewed as the most vulnerable in the 2026 midterm elections. Governor Brian Kemp, a Republican, was long seen as a potential candidate when he finishes up his second term as governor in 2026, with polling long finding him comfortably ahead in a hypothetical matchup with Ossoff.
