In an emotional statement, MSNBC’s Nicolle Wallace has bizarrely claimed that President Donald Trump is plotting to end freedom of the press as part of his so-called “attack on democracy” if re-elected.
During the opening of her show “Deadline: White House,” Wallace warned “the real threat looms larger.”
She claims that Trump is also planning to end “all of our freedoms and for the rule of law itself.”
Not only did Wallace make the allegations with a straight face, but she also appeared to grow increasingly emotional.
The left-wing host unloaded in her fearmongering statement while recapping Saturday’s White House Correspondents’ Dinner.
At the lavish event, Democrat President Joe Biden told the press to remember “what’s at stake” in the November election.
The annual dinner for media elites had a “dark undercurrent” this year, Wallace said.
She claims the media is fearing the threat of a Trump re-election looming.
“The annual White House Correspondents’ Dinner is one of the symptoms, one of the signs of a healthy, functioning democracy,” she began.
