Disgraced former lawyer Michael Cohen is begging the United States Supreme Court to help him seek compensation for his imprisonment, according to a new report.
Cohen, who was an attorney for President Donald Trump before turning against him, is appealing to the Supreme Court seeking damages relating to his imprisonment, Slate reported.
The report outlines the issue in a piece co-authored by Cohen’s friend and his attorney.

In an effort to drum up support for Cohen, Slate, a far-left propaganda outlet, printed a piece titled, “Donald Trump Jailed a Critic During His First Term. Does the Supreme Court Care?”
The authors claim, without evidence, that Cohen was kept in jail in retaliation for turning against Trump and attempting to write a tell-all book.
“It is hard to imagine a more clear-cut violation of the Constitution than jailing an American for expressing his political opinions,” the article began.
“But, as a federal judge found, that is what happened to Donald Trump’s attorney-turned-adversary Michael Cohen in the summer of 2020.”
