Photos obtained by Breitbart News show the sculpture still under construction in a Pennsylvania workshop. According to those involved, the project is privately funded by donors seeking to honor Trump’s resilience, particularly in the wake of last July’s assassination attempt during a campaign stop in Butler, Pennsylvania.
The Butler incident, where an armed individual attempted to kill the then-candidate, became a rallying cry for Trump’s supporters. Supporters of the cryptocurrency project $PATRIOT commissioned Ohio-based sculptor Alan Cottrill to create a monumental bronze statue of Trump.
