Rep. Lauren Boebert has ended her relationship with the individual caught “groping her” during a playful outing at a Colorado theater where they were attending a family-friendly performance of “Beetlejuice.”
The self-described “eccentric” politician returned to Washington D.C. on Monday and informed TMZ that there will be no more “future date nights” between her and Quinn Gallagher, the bar owner.
“I learned to check party affiliations before you go on a date,” Boebert told the outlet, referring to Gallagher.
Controversially, Gallagher, a Democrat, is the co-owner of an Aspen, Colorado tavern that had hosted drag queen performances.
“Nothing to do with anything that anyone reported. Honestly, he’s a private citizen and we peacefully parted,” she added. “Great man, great friend and I wish him all the best.”
Last week, Boebert was captured on camera appearing to use a vape while engaging in physical contact with Gallagher, with him fondling her breasts.
In January, Gallagher’s Hooch Craft Cocktail Bar in Aspen hosted a “Winter Wonderland Burlesque & Drag Show.” In 2020, Aspen Gay Ski Week featured “an evening of cocktails, appetizers, and entertainment” at Hooch, as indicated in a Facebook post from that time.
