JUST IN: Yet ANOTHER GOP Lawmaker Announces Retirement, Majority In CRITICAL Condition – EVOL

Yet another Republican lawmaker has announced that he will be retiring from politics after this year and not seeking reelection.

Rep. Bill Posey (R-FL) has announced that 2024 will be his last year as a lawmaker and has endorsed his understudy Mike Haridopolos as his replacement.

Posey’s unexpected retirement from Congress has raised even more concerns regarding the ever-shrinking GOP majority in the House of Representatives.

Even if President Trump wins in November, which is looking increasingly likely, he will likely inherit a Democrat-controlled legislature.

On Friday, Posey announced his retirement via this press release:

Posey, who has served in the House since 2008, made the announcement after the filing deadline for the race closed.
