John Kerry just admitted what millions of Americans already knew — President Donald Trump was right about the border all along.
In a new BBC interview, the former Biden climate czar slammed his own party’s failure to secure the southern border and admitted that Democrats allowed the crisis to spiral out of control.
“Without a border protected, you don’t have a nation,” Kerry said. “If you’re going to define your nation, you have to have a border that means something.”
He also said he wished Joe Biden had spoken more clearly about enforcing immigration laws.
“I wish President Biden had been heard more often saying, ‘I’m going to enforce the law.’”
“He Was Right”
When asked if Trump’s tough border policies were the correct approach, Kerry didn’t hesitate.
“He was right,” Kerry admitted.
He added that all Democrats should have followed the same path, saying, “Everybody should have been right, doing the same thing, all moving in the same direction.”
