Jimmy Kimmel Reveals He Got Italian Citizenship and Plans to Leave the US – EVOL

Late-night host Jimmy Kimmel revealed he has obtained Italian citizenship and hinted at leaving the United States because of President Donald Trump.

Speaking on The Sarah Silverman Podcast, Kimmel, 57, said he was “considering” a move to Europe as he and Silverman discussed celebrities leaving the country during Trump’s second term.

“I do have … I did get Italian citizenship. I do have that,” Kimmel said, adding that life under Trump has been “so much worse” than expected.

“I feel like it’s probably even worse than [Trump] would like it to be.”

Open to Former Trump Supporters Switching Sides

Kimmel also commented on former MAGA supporters now criticizing Trump, referencing podcaster Joe Rogan’s recent remarks about Trump’s deportation policies.

“I think the door needs to stay open,” Kimmel said.

“If you want to change your mind, that’s so hard to do. If you want to admit you were wrong, that’s so hard and so rare to do. You are welcome.”
