In a recent X post, Senator and Donald Trump’s Vice Presidential Running Mate JD Vance made a bold statement: if Joe Biden isn’t willing to run for reelection, then he isn’t fit to be president now and should step down immediately. While this may seem like a harsh stance, there are several compelling reasons why Vance’s argument holds merit.
“If Joe Biden ends his reelection campaign, how can he justify remaining President? Not running for reelection would be a clear admission that President Trump was right all along about Biden not being mentally fit enough to serve as Commander-in-Chief. There is no middle ground.”

There is no middle ground.

First and foremost, if Biden is not willing to commit to running for reelection, it suggests a lack of confidence in his ability to lead the country for another term. If he doesn’t believe in his own capabilities, why should the American people?
