Jasmine Crockett Town Hall: ‘Republicans Want Poor People to Die as Quickly as Humanly Possible’ – EVOL

During a Democrat town hall event, radical Rep. Jasmine Crockett (D-TX) helped to amplify wild, fabricated claims about Republicans.

During the Monday night town hall, hosted by former CNN anchor Jim Acosta, Crockett made waves by echoing one of the most inflammatory claims in recent memory: that “Republicans want poor people to die as quickly as humanly possible.”

Crockett, touted by progressives as a rising Democrat star, shared the stage with far-left actress Rosie O’Donnell, CNN contributor and former Capitol police officer Michael Fanone, and ex-Trump official Olivia Troye.

However, it was Crockett’s agreement with a sweeping indictment of the GOP that quickly grabbed national attention.

During the discussion, Acosta referenced a comment from Sen. Joni Ernst (R-IA) at a recent Medicaid town hall.

When confronted by a protester yelling “People will die!” over benefit reforms, Ernst had responded, “We all are going to die.”

Acosta responded at his panel:

“I’m thinking to myself, isn’t the point of healthcare to postpone that as long as possible… like, we don’t want that to happen, isn’t that the point?”

Fanone, who gained notoriety following the Jan. 6 protests and now works as a CNN analyst, escalated the rhetoric.
