Israel launched airstrikes on Wednesday targeting Syria’s Ministry of Defense headquarters in Damascus, as part of a broader campaign against the Syrian regime.
According to the Jerusalem Post, the IDF carried out 160 aerial attacks on regime forces near Sweida in southern Syria.
Video footage from the scene shows Israeli missiles slamming into buildings near the Defense Ministry and even within striking distance of the presidential palace.

The strikes come just days after President Trump bombed Iran’s nuclear sites and brokered a ceasefire between Israel and Iran.
Now, the Israeli military is turning its focus to the Assad regime, which has been battling with Druze militias in southern Syria.
“The IDF is striking in the area and remains prepared for various scenarios,” the military said on social media.
