Illegal Immigrant Deported Twice Kills Vegas Police Officer in Wrong Way Crash – EVOL

An illegal immigrant who had been deported two times from the country killed an off-duty police officer in a wrong-way crash earlier this month. The illegal immigrant had kept sneaking back into the country after getting sent away.

Fernando Jimenez-Jimenez, 31, from Mexico, was driving on the wrong side of the road on Interstate 15 when he crashed into Officer Colton Pulsipher, 29, near Vegas.

Pulsipher had been driving home from his shift for the department, the New York Post reported.

Jimenez as well as Pulsipher were found dead at the scene when first responders arrived. Jimenez had an order of removal placed on him by a judge three years ago, the outlet reported.

He was deported out of the country in 2019 on “an order of expedited removal.” He then came into the US again in 2020 and was deported again in 2021.

Officers found containers of alcohol as well as marijuana in Jimenez’s F150, which plowed into Pulsipher’s Toyota Corolla. A toxicology report on Jimenez is still pending, per the Las Vegas Review Journal.
