Hunter Biden owes millions to ex-wife who is expected to testify in gun trial: Report – EVOL

Hunter Biden, President Joe Biden‘s son, owes his ex-wife more than $1.7 million in spousal support, legal fees and interest since their 2017 divorce, according to documents shared with Axios.

Hunter Biden’s ex-wife Kathleen Buhle is expected to testify in his gun case starting Monday and sometime during his Sept. 5 tax case.

A court found that Hunter Biden breached his divorce agreement in a January 2021 ruling — the agreement called for him to pay Buhle $37,000 a month plus 50% of anything he made over $875,000 annually.

Court documents stated that Hunter Biden didn’t pay Buhle the annual spousal support after he made $2.4 and $2.1 million in 2017 and 2018 respectively. Therefore, he was ordered to pay her $1.1 million plus 6% interest.

In addition, Hunter Biden mostly failed to pay Buhle her monthly alimony after she filed a civil suit against him in 2018, adding to his debt total. His lawyers said he wanted to pay his ex-wife but didn’t have the money amid his drug addiction.

In June 2020, the court reprimanded Hunter Biden for trying to delay a resolution “for as long as possible” after he didn’t pay a court-ordered $259,000 plus interest by
