A witch who claims to have been involved in placing a curse on Charlie Kirk before his assassination has revealed she regrets the distress caused to the conservative activist’s widow, Erika Kirk.
In an interview with the Daily Mail, the spellcaster, who goes by the name Priestess Lilin, offered to correspond privately with Erika to explain her side.
She stressed that the hex was not intended to “physically harm” the Turning Point USA founder and that she “did not celebrate the loss of life.”
Charlie Kirk was assassinated on Sept. 10 during a campus event at Utah Valley University.
Two days earlier, the liberal website Jezebel published an article describing how it paid several witches on the online marketplace Etsy to curse Kirk in the days leading up to his death.
The article, titled “We Paid Some Etsy Witches to Curse Charlie Kirk,” was later removed after the assassination.
Megyn Kelly revealed on her YouTube show that Erika Kirk had been “genuinely rattled” by the Jezebel story, per the Daily Mail.
