Russian intelligence gathers damaging information about former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton’s health during her 2016 presidential campaign, including evidence that she has “psycho-emotional problems” treated with strong sedatives.
However, Russian President Vladimir Putin chose not to release this information before the election because he believed Clinton would win.
These startling facts come from a House Intelligence Committee report on Russia’s impact on the 2016 election, which Tulsi Gabbard, the current Director of National Intelligence, declassifies and makes public on Wednesday.
The report states that the SVR, Russia’s foreign intelligence service, possesses Democratic National Committee communications indicating Clinton suffers from “intensified psycho-emotional problems, including uncontrolled fits of anger, aggression, and cheerfulness.”
Based on 20 interviews with intelligence officers and FBI agents, as well as source material from a 2017 report ordered by former President Barack Obama, the committee finds that Clinton is placed on a daily regimen of “heavy tranquilizers,” per the Conservative Brief.
Despite fearing defeat, Clinton remains “obsessed with a thirst for power,” the report notes.
By September 2016, exchanges show that President Barack Obama and Democratic Party leaders regard Clinton’s health as “extraordinarily alarming” and worry it will negatively affect her chances against Donald Trump.
At that
