Fox News Host Sparks Outrage With Controversial Kirk Remarks – EVOL

Veteran Fox News host Howard Kurtz drew immediate attention during the final broadcast of his Sunday show, “MediaBuzz,” after describing conservative activist Charlie Kirk as “not a saint.” 

The comment sparked criticism both from online viewers and colleagues within the network. 

Kurtz, who has hosted “MediaBuzz” for over a decade, often sparked debate with his assessments of political figures, making his final remarks on Kirk particularly scrutinized.

The discussion unfolded during a panel featuring Washington Examiner editor Sarah Bedford, who highlighted concerns about political violence, particularly from left-wing extremists. 

Bedford acknowledged that threats can emerge from across the political spectrum but stressed that leftist violence is disproportionately concerning. 

“An honest conversation about what led to this moment has to focus in part on the left,” she said.

Kurtz responded by emphasizing the “both sides” aspect of Bedford’s remarks. 

“I’m glad you mentioned that it’s not unique to one side or one party. Charlie, Charlie Kirk was not a saint,” he said, referencing a statement Kirk made two years ago about the societal cost of gun deaths and the importance of preserving Second Amendment rights.

Kirk’s remarks have often been misrepresented online.
