Former House Speaker Paul Ryan Reveals He Is Not Voting for Trump, Claims ‘Character Is Too Important for Me’ – EVOL

Paul Ryan, a member of the Fox Corporation Board of Directors, revealed to Yahoo on Tuesday at the Milken Institute Global Conference that he will not vote in favor of former President Donald Trump.

Ryan’s pledge marks his most recent attack on the America First movement. In April, he praised House Speaker Mike Johnson (R-LA) for his leadership, despite the Speaker’s decisions enabling Democrats to gain control of the House.

Ryan stated that he intends to write in a Republican candidate, just as he did “last time.” However, he did not mention any specific individual.

“Character is too important for me,” Ryan claimed. “[The presidency] is a job that requires the kind of character [Trump] doesn’t have.”

“Democracy is being tested in two very specific ways. One within, with our polarization eating each other alive,” he added.

“The second one is from [the outside], from authoritarian regimes who are basically saying they got the mojo, they can make the decisions faster, they can beat democracy,” he said.
