Former DHS Official Believes He’s Next After FBI’s Bolton Raid – EVOL

Former Department of Homeland Security official Miles Taylor suggested over the weekend that he could be the next target of President Donald Trump’s FBI, following last week’s raid on the Maryland home of former National Security Adviser John Bolton.

Asked by MSNBC host Jonathan Capehart whether he was concerned about possible moves by the administration, Taylor replied, “Yeah, we expect it. I mean, really, we expect it. And that’s what is so surreal … to be so certain of the president’s revenge campaign to know potentially who that next target might be.”

He added that when he and his wife saw the news of the Bolton raid, she told him: “It’s coming.”

Taylor Warns of Broader Pattern

Taylor previously alleged that Trump kept a “blacklist” of political enemies. On MSNBC, he said the issue is bigger than Bolton or himself.

“Folks don’t have to play the violin for John Bolton or Miles Taylor. Maybe they don’t like either of us. That’s fine, because it’s not about us. It’s about the criminal justice system that all Americans expect to be able to treat them fairly,” he said.
