Democrat Senator John Fetterman (D-PA) has publicly blasted radical Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) over the congresswoman’s complaint that her party didn’t “fight harder” to block a government funding measure.
Fetterman slammed AOC in a post on X on Friday.
The senator fired back after AOC declared during speeches on Thursday:
“We need a Democratic Party that fights harder for us too.”
Sharing a screenshot featuring a quotation of Ocasio-Cortez’s comment, Fetterman wrote:
“Fight ‘harder’—a stunt that would have harmed millions and plunged us into chaos.
“We kept our government open.

AOC did not respond to Fetterman’s comments.
Fetterman and other Democrats voted last week to overcome a procedural hurdle.
The vote cleared the way for the chamber to vote on a government funding measure to avoid a partial government shutdown.
