Don Lemon Says He Now Watches Conservative News, ‘Cut The Cord’ On Mainstream Media

Former CNN host Don Lemon turned heads after revealing that he now watches conservative news, adding that he “cut the cord” on mainstream media outlets.

Nearly nine months after his departure from the left-leaning network, Lemon sat for an interview with Puck News for the outlet’s third annual “Guide to Mirth & Merriment.” Lemon, alongside fellow guests Gwyneth Paltrow, Lena Waithe, Mickey Drexler, Risa Heller, and Jeffrey Leeds, provided his recommended content in the form of podcasts and shows.

Lemon told Puck, that he has “cut the cord” and in a surprising turn, at least two of his favorite content sources are fairly conservative.

“Since leaving corporate media I cut the cord. I have an extensive, eclectic streaming palate now: Fellow Travelers on Showtime; PBDPodcast (it’s very conservative); The Ben Shapiro Show (I want to hear his take on Israel); Pivot (of course); Piers Morgan Uncensored (very real, authentic conversations you don’t get in corporate media); Pod Save America (obvi); The Daily (every single day); Smartless (the best); The Adam Friedland Show (smart, irreverent, funny; download the Chet Hanks episode for evidence).”
