Dog the Bounty Hunter’s Grandson, 13, Shot Dead by Father in Tragic Accident – EVOL

Duane “Dog the Bounty Hunter” Chapman and his wife Francie Chapman are grieving a devastating family tragedy after Francie’s 13-year-old grandson, Anthony Zecca, was accidentally shot and killed by his father, Gregory Zecca, in their Naples, Florida apartment.

Authorities say the shooting was a tragic accident and have labeled it an “isolated incident.” No charges have been filed at this time.

The Victim: A Joyful, Faith-Filled Young Man

Anthony, remembered as a joyful and faith-filled boy, had previously spent the summer with his grandparents. In 2023, while visiting Francie in the ER after she suffered an ankle injury, Anthony told a touching story of how he felt the Holy Spirit:

“The doors didn’t open, but I felt the wind again,” he said, describing what he believed was a spiritual encounter.
“It was the Holy Spirit.”

Anthony was a Christian, loved comic books, dancing to Usher, and attending Comic-Con events, often posing with his favorite characters.
